Patricia Apollonia Kotero has been model and actress in the United States over a long period of time. Her name was associated with her as the co-star in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain, and the vocalist for the girl group Apollonia 6 The actress and singer was named Apollonia by Prince was one of the many female performers in the 1980s who benefited from her relationship with the Purple One. Patricia Kotero began her acting and modeling career in Santa Monica California, in the latter half of the '70s. This included an appearance on CHiPS. Kotero was the female lead of Prince's Purple Rain in 1984 (at when he was changing his name). She went on to appear in several minor films during the period (reportedly declining to appear as a character in her Purple Rain follow-up Under the Cherry Moon) and then landed an appearance on the evening-time drama Falcon Crest during 1985-1986. Apollonia could finally make her debut album available in 1988. Unfortunately, it didn't leave a lasting impression with music fans and soon faded from the music scene. During the following decade, she continued to work in the field of acting (if she was a bit unnoticed) and also in a few TV roles, movies and an exercise video. Apollonia's album "Stay With Me" came out in 1997. When she returned to school she earned an associate's degree in filmmaking and founded her own company.
